Lane Steele has been teaching at Wesley Day School since 2014 in Art class.  She attended King College in Bristol, TN and graduated with a BA in Business Administration in 1991.  She has been a Board Member and volunteer for New Hope, Blount County's Children Advocacy Center.  She has taught a child abuse prevention program, Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children, for New Hope since 2011.  Wesley Day School has been awarded a "Partner in Prevention" status from Darkness to Light every year since 2018.

Lane has a great love for Wesley Day School, as all three of her children attended.  Lane loves travel with family and spending time with her husband of 31 years. She is excited to be a part of WDS!!
