Wesley Day School

DIRECTOR

​April Sharpe is the Director of Wesley Day School, bringing over 21 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Master’s degree in Education with a minor in Child Development from the University of Tennessee. April is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, curious, and excited to learn. As a mother of three, she understands the needs of families and believes in partnering closely with parents to support each child’s growth and development.

TEACHERS and ASSISTANTS

At Wesley Day School, our teachers and our TAs are experienced and educated.  Some of our teachers and TAs (teaching assistants) have Master's degrees.  All staff members are First Aid and CPR Certified and complete many hours of continuing education each year. 


BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Members of the Board are chosen for 3-year terms and assume financial and legal responsibilities of the school. In addition to making the policies, they are also responsible for hiring all personnel.
